How to choose accessories for a Can-Am ATV

BRP lists Can-Am accessory compatibility by platform code: G2, G2L, G2S, G3, G3L, with MAX for two-seaters and 6x6. The code depends on year, model and engine — see the table from the Can-Am 2026 accessory catalogue below.

How to use the table

Find your year, then model and engine — the last column is the platform code. Every part in the catalogue lists the codes it fits: if yours is there, it fits.

Note: in 2023–2024 the same Outlander name sits on different platforms depending on the engine. For 2024, Outlander 500 and 700 are G3L while 850 and 1000R are G2. From 2025, 850 and 1000R are G3.

G2 and G3: what it means for accessories

Per the BRP table, G3 arrived in 2023 on Outlander 500 and 700 (G3L), and from 2025 Outlander 850 and 1000R moved to it too (G3). Renegade remains G2S.

Our catalogue has 258 parts for G2 and 182 for G3; 9 fit both — they list both codes. The rest fit their own platform only.

It depends on the engine: 500 and 700 are G3L, 850 and 1000R are G2.
